Any request from project owners to sell or transfer ownership interests of an existing tax credit project or to replace the management company for their projects must be submitted and approved by CTCAC prior to the change. The average processing time for changes for a single project is 2-4 weeks and are processed in the order received. Any requests received in the 4th quarter of the year (October through December) may have an increased processing time of 4-6 weeks.
