What We Offer
CTCAC administers the federal and state Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program which encourages private investment in affordable rental housing for households meeting certain income requirements. CTCAC monitors a tax credit project for progress in meeting milestones and reservation requirements up until it is completed. Once a project is placed-in-service, CTCAC provides federal compliance monitoring for the initial 15 years and then continues auditing and monitoring projects throughout the regulatory agreement period, in most cases for a total of 55 years.
